| Champlain Valley Region and Washington County - This is a key position in a well established traditional dairy area with growth potential, seeking an aggressive team oriented individual to assist Breeding Program Specialists and Area Program Consultant to provide all Genex service, semen, and product offerings to customers. Seeking a person who is willing to be flexible, responsible, career-oriented and also willing to work with a diverse group of dairy producers. A great chance to work with dedicated teammates to shape the future of several Sales units in these high cow population areas.
Major Areas of Accountability
•· To provide personalized AI service and reproductive principles to support members/customers.
•· Assist APC with on -farm programs to develop skills for the future.
•· Conduct business in a way that is efficient, effective and profitable for Genex.
•· Assist in achieving desired herd and profit improvements for members.
•· Follow through on personal development plans as outlined by the ASM and Team Leader for progression into other marketing positions.
Qualifications
•· Degree in agriculture or equivalent practical experience.
•· Some training in the AI process.
•· Good communication and people skills.
•· Computer knowledge.
•· Be energetic, self confident person who enjoys challenges.
•· Highly motivated team player that is eager to learn, be persistent and competitive.
•· Reliable vehicle and good driving record.
