Successful candidate would be responsible for the following:

·         Management of all aspects of service provided by two agricultural laboratories: Agri-Check, Umatilla, Oregon, and North West Labs, Jerome, Idaho.

·         Direction of marketing and sales activities to existing clients and prospects.

·         Supervision of Laboratory Managers and staff, currently consisting of approximately 25 employees, plus part-time and seasonal.

·         Administration of annual operating budget and achievement of financial goals.

·         Establishment and administration of annual plan for the Division, with accountability for achievement of Divisional goals.  Contribute to development of the organizational plan as a member of AgSource senior management staff. 

·         Administration of pricing of laboratory services.

·         Cooperation with other AgSource divisions and CRI subsidiaries in advancement and expansion of organizational sales and services.

·         Representation of the organization with various industry functions and organizations. 

The successful candidate should have a Masters of Science degree in Agronomy or a related field and/or equivalent experience in management of an agricultural laboratory business; five or more years of experience in diversified aspects of agribusiness management including marketing, operations, financial and client services.  Candidate must have strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
