AgSource Laboratories is seeking a qualified individual to fill full-time Soil Laboratory Specialist position. The candidate must be motivated, have a chemistry background,
good ethical skills, and some knowledge in the agronomic field (preferred).

Some of the major areas of responsibility are:

•·       Analyzing soil for micro elemental nutrient values.

•·       Preparing extracting solutions and standard dilutions for specific components.

•·       Maintaining inventory on chemicals and laboratory supplies.

•·       Preparing soil, manure, and plant tissue samples for analysis.

•·       Routine maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

Must have knowledge or experience with the following lab equipment:

•·       ICP, Spectrophotometers, Turbidimeter, Atomic Absorption, and pH meters

•·       Experience with other lab equipment is a plus

The successful candidate must also have strong organizational skills and the ability to work and cooperate with other employees and customers in a dynamic working environment.
