AGSOURCE RECOGNIZES OUTSTANDING MANAGER VERONA, Wis. - AgSource Cooperative Services recognized Erin Berger as the 2011 Neal Langjahr Memorial Award recipient. This award recognizes outstanding DHI managerial service to the cooperative. It was presented to Berger at the AgSource annual meeting on March 23 in Bloomington, Minn. "Erin has outstanding personal strength. This helps her to be a positive leader," stated Pat Baier, AgSource Vice President of DHI Operations, "Her leadership has completely transformed the productivity of the Northeast Region." Berger joined AgSource in 2004 as the Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast Region. She developed a long term plan that involved many changes. By sticking to her plan, she has dramatically improved service to members and improved performance and morale of all employees. This has led to increased efficiency and improved performance for the region. Currently, Berger's region services 418 herds and 79,206 cows, covering 16 counties in the northeast area of Wisconsin. She supervises 17 Field Technicians in the northeast region, one of the most competitive areas in which AgSource provides DHI field service. Erin and her husband, Brad, live in Bonduel with their two children.
