New GENEX Employees Complete Extensive Training Program

SHAWANO, Wisconsin — Twelve new employees of GENEX, a cattle genetics cooperative, recently completed a two-week training program held at the headquarters in Shawano, Wisconsin. During the training, the new employees increased their knowledge of cattle reproductive anatomy and physiology, heat detection, synchronization, semen handling, artificial insemination, and dairy genetics in order to better serve dairy producers across the U.S.

Those completing the program include reproductive technicians Samantha Roberts of Plattsburgh, New York; and Dustie Strasser of New Haven, Vermont; reproductive program technicians Roberto Real, of Silver Springs, New York; Rachel Stanley of Marathon, New York; Rick Jesnowski of Evansville, Minnesota; Gerard Marshall of Antwerp, New York; Luis Vazquez of Brookings, South Dakota; Carley Reisen of Platteville, Wisconsin; and Kenna Kirsnis of New Glarus, Wisconsin; and reproductive program senior technicians Steve Schneider of Cecil, Wisconsin; John Peters of Prescott, Wisconsin; and Jorie Skyzypchak of Edgar, Wisconsin.
