Genex Unveils Online Profit Shop
SHAWANO, Wis., - A new era of purchasing has arrived. Beginning June 1, customers of Genex Cooperative, Inc., have access to quality Genex products and genetics through the click of a mouse. With the opening of the Profit Shop, an online retail store, members and customers can place their orders for cattle genetics, products and supplies at their own convenience.
The concept of Web marketing was first introduced in 2006 by Genex delegates. These members felt it would be an important tool for marketing in the future. What began as an idea from a Genex member has now become a reality available to all beef and dairy producers across the United States.
The Profit Shop provides convenience with the ability to purchase the same high quality semen and products at any time of the day, seven days a week. Producers can count on fast delivery with orders shipped directly to their farm or ranch.
"The Profit Shop provides a unique opportunity for members and customers who are accustomed to conducting business over the Internet," highlights Barry Putnam, Genex District Sales Manager who helped make this concept a reality. "The Profit Shop provides great opportunities and better exposure to our products for better overall service to members in remote areas."
Online purchasing through the Profit Shop is another example of the Genex commitment to customer satisfaction. Genex representatives will continue to keep their current routes and stops, but will offer convenience and efficiency for those producers looking to do more business over the Internet.
