Access Management Information Faster

 With AgSourceDM and DairyHand

Getting dairy herd information at your fingertips, just got a little easier. Recently, AgSource completed several major revisions to the AgSourceDM program, available at www.AgSourceDM.com . The program is Internet based, meaning the program and your herd data can be accessed from any PC, at any location. All you need is an Internet connection to access and modify your herd information. One of the biggest benefits of the program is that there is no software to install on a computer, and there is no need to backup data. Herd information is secure on the AgSource server and updates are done automatically at no cost.
Through the use of an Internet browser, AgSourceDM is simple to use, yet is powerful enough to produce an array of reports. Using the program can make test day run smoother, as Field Technicians can seamlessly import your herd data from AgSourceDM into their computer. An added bonus is the elimination of data entry errors, giving the end user more accurate management information.
AgSourceDM's companion product is DairyHand. DairyHand is an exciting complement to  AgSourceDM, which can also be used as a stand alone product. With this application, data entry and cow lookups can be done on any handheld device with Internet capability including a Smartphone. With DairyHand, users can have a complete herd check information sheet on their phone and as the veterinarian provides information, it can be entered and transmitted directly to AgSource via a wireless Internet connection.
Having reports such as the Work List Menu available on your phone provides maximum functionality. If you notice a cow in heat, you can grab your phone out of your pocket and look up how many days in milk she is, check her reproductive history and decide whether or not to have her bred. Not only can you look up individual cow histories, you can enter calvings, breeding dates, health events and a host of other items cowside and send it over a wireless Internet connection to AgSource. A 30 day trial of AgSourceDM and DairyHand is available to members by visiting
